Our oysters are grown in the creeks of Mersea Island, where the River Blackwater meets the Essex coast. Cared for by eighth generation oysterman Tom Haward, they’re shaped by the tides, the water and nearly 300 years of family know how, giving every oyster its distinctive clean, briny character.
The medium rocky oysters were so fresh, creamy and flavourful! They’re heavenly when you squeeze in a bit of lemon and vinaigrette and slurp them up.

I ordered three medium oysters and 3 clams, they were fresh and tasted great, I loved the sauces and vinaigrettes also that you can put on them.

The XL oysters were meaty and flavourful with a fantastic mignonette. The white wine they serve also paired perfectly.
