We are thrilled to be selling these wonderful serving boards that are made by a local small business. These are all unique and slightly different so the prices of boards will differ.
Mersea Art use a local wood supplier to provide their customers with unique, sustainable and robust products. Their supplier was established to turn local surplus trees into high quality timber products. They aim to source all of their wood sustainably, never buying from abroad and instead, working with local farmers, land owners and tree surgeons to get the best timber for their products.
The supplier is local to Mersea and each board is unique. They are covered with a safe-to-eat oil and are made with sweet chestnut. Not only are these beautiful to serve oysters on, they can be used for many things such as cheese, seafood and charcuterie.
